Grateful to our Sponsors
County Roads Theatre Company is very grateful to our sponsors for their support of local theatre here in the County. Production Sponsors Libby Crombie and Alexandra Bake have returned, along with Performance Sponsors Sage Design and Construction, Books & Company, Prinzen Ford, and Funk & Gruven. And coming on board this year are Closson Chase Winery, BMO Picton Branch, The Vic Cafe, Mad Dog Gallery, and Dan Claxton Electric. Their support makes a production such as this possible.
A Play for 2022
Collected Stories comes to Mount Tabor in September!
We are please to announce plans to produce Collected Stories by Donald Margulies. The pandemic slowed us down, but it did not stop us, and we are excited with the result.
A wonderful, intimate character study of relationships and the shifting power dynamics between teacher and student, Collected Stories looks at how time, truth, and art change people. That teacher-student relationship is given palpable depth on stage by actors Joan McBride and Melissa Paulson who were themselves teacher and student years ago at John Abbott College’s Professional Theatre department.
While the pandemic is still worrying, we are looking forward to an autumn season without all the current restrictions. Keep watching for news as the production moves forward.
We loved it until the very end!
On A First Name Basis closed to full and appreciative houses. Thank you everyone who came and enjoyed this wonderful play. Check back for updates about our next production.
